These printed kangaroo hides are make by local artist Lindy Whitton. I first came across her work when someone brought a piece to one of my clutch-making workshops and turned it into the most beautiful bag. I fell in love with it instantly.

I asked Lindy if she would print some full kangaroo hides for the studio — to frame and hang on the walls, and to use as considered elements in my bags and accessories. They turned out beautifully. The prints feel deeply connected to place: to the seasons, the landscape, and the quiet rhythm of life here.

We’ll continue to make a small run each season, so the colours and foliage will change throughout the year. No two pieces will ever be the same.

They feel very special — a reflection of Tasmanian life, landscape, and time.
