Meet Ella Jackson
Leather Artisan & Designer
I’m Ella (El), the designer and maker behind every piece in the Ella Jackson collection. I work from my Tasmanian studio with a focus on form, material integrity, and restraint.
With over a decade of experience in leatherwork, my practice has been shaped by time, material, and continual refinement. A six-month period of cultural and technical immersion in Florence deepened that foundation—sharpening my approach and reaffirming my commitment to quiet, considered design. I work exclusively with full grain leather, embracing its natural variations and allowing the material to speak for itself.
Every piece is made by hand. Slowly. Thoughtfully. Designed to last—not just in construction, but in relevance.
This is leather, refined to its purest expression.
Design Philosophy
I believe in fewer, better things.
In design that serves a purpose, holds its shape, and earns its place.
My approach is guided by minimalism, slow production, and a commitment to enduring quality. I choose full grain leather for its honesty and strength—allowing each piece to age gracefully, shaped by the hands and life of its wearer.
This isn’t fast fashion. It’s a slower rhythm. A quieter kind of luxury.
