When I was training in Italy, I spent a lot of time visiting leather studios — wandering through and watching how different brands approached design. One day I saw the Ferragamo North–South Tote, and I couldn’t stop thinking about it. It had this quiet confidence — clean lines, nothing unnecessary — and it worked just as well for men as it did for women. I loved that balance.

This bag grew from that idea. It’s the kind of piece you can take anywhere — to the mercato to pick up some vino and cibo, or to the office with your laptop. It’s constructed as two bags in one: the outer shell is made from beautiful Italian vegetable-tanned leather that gets better with age, and the inner layer is softly lined with a pocket and card sleeve.

It takes me two full days to make this Shopper, and that’s after weeks of design and prototyping. The hardest part is the final stitch around the front and back border — it needs to be perfect. One slip and the whole bag’s ruined. But that’s part of the process; every time, I learn something new.
